Can we have filming or photography done aside from the wedding day?
Additional cost of €300 for a 5 hour slot. To create extra moments for you highlight film and Full feature.
Does the cost include your travel?
Yes, the cost includes all travel expenses.
Do you cover the whole of Cyprus?
Yes, at no extra cost.
Do you film/photograph multiple weddings in a day?
No, we will only ever shoot one wedding per day.
How many cinematographers/photographers should we expect?
As we only do one wedding per day every member of our team will be focused on your day and your day only!
Do we need to provide you with a meal?
Depending on your package you may need to provide us with a meal, (Hotel wedding planner usually arranges this).
Will you be obtrusive?
In no way will our team be obtrusive, we pride our self’s to being a fly on the wall, whilst capturing those special moments!
How do you dress?
We dress as if we are guests, we do not come in uniform or in any other manner which we could use to promote ourselves.
Can we meet beforehand to discuss the details of the day?
If you feel more comfortable meeting in person before booking the big day to discuss your exact requirements and the details of your wedding, we are happy to do so. However, we prefer to arrange meetings out of the Wedding season, which runs from beginning of April until end of October. Additionally, as we do not outsource the editing and with each edit taking 50+ hours we can only afford the time for one meeting per wedding couple. If it is more convenient for you we can liaise via email, telephone, FaceTime™ or Skype™, whichever you prefer.
How long will our finished film be?
Although it is purely down to whatever is right for the film, our films tend to end up being roughly between 20 – 25 minutes long. It will be put together in an elegant and contemporary style and will include both the key points of your day and all of the smaller details and moments that will make your day just yours. The trailer will be a shortened version of your film and will be sent to you before the finished film. It is also perfect for posting on social media.
How long will we have to wait before receiving our film?
We have an average turn around time of roughly 6 weeks after the date of your wedding. we will be contracted to take no longer than 3 months and we will stay in touch with you throughout the editing process to keep you updated on the development of your film.
How long will you spend editing our film?
We will be contracted to spend at least 5 working days (8 hours per day) putting your film together, although as perfectionists we tend to nearly always end up spending a bit longer on your film than this (obviously at no extra cost!)
What will we receive in our final videography package?
As standard, along with the 20-25 minute cinematic film and 2-4 minute trailer, you will receive a full multi-camera recording of both the ceremony and the speeches, each painstakingly colour graded and placed onto a DVD and blu-ray disc. This will then be packaged in a unique and beautifully handmade case that we have specially made.
What will we receive in our final photography package?
As standard, you will receive a USB with your photos on. In addition we will also provide you with an exclusive luxury storybook.
When will I receive my photographs?
We will try our utmost to have your photos ready by the time you leave resort - however if this is not possible they will be with you within 2 weeks.
Will we be mic’d during the ceremony?
For the best possible sound quality, we will mic the groom during the ceremony using a small clip-on mic that will be connected to a small recorder that will be slipped into a trouser pocket.
How does the booking process work?
If you would like to book Moments to film your day, simply get in touch via email or phone and we will get an e-contract sent to you online. We will also arrange a pre-wedding consultation phone call or meet up with you at your hotel before your day. This gives us the chance to get to know you before your big day and for you to discuss the arrangements of your day in more depth. It also gives you the chance to ask any further questions you may have. The full fee will be required at least 2 weeks before your wedding day.
How much is the Deposit? When do I pay the remaining balance?
As soon as you decide that you would like to book with us, we require a 20% deposit to secure your date. The deposit guarantees that we will not make any other reservations or accept any other clients for your reserved date. In the event of cancellation, the deposit is non-refundable in order to offset loss of business. The remaining balance must be paid in full 2 weeks before.
How will we pay you?
We are able to take payment via bank transfer or cash once you’re in resort.
Do you do destination weddings?
Yes definitely! Providing we are available and the logistics aren’t too difficult to get to the destination, we would love to do more weddings abroad. There are additional expenses involved so please contact us to enquire about rates for overseas arrangements.
Can I order extra copies of my wedding DVD?
Included in your final package, which is either hand delivered, couriered or posted to you, is one DVD and one blu-ray disc (disc contains both highlights and full-length film). However, if you would like extra copies with the printed cover and DVD case you can order them from us for €20 per copy including postage.
Can I buy additional storybooks or USB's for family members?
Yes, we can provide you with extra copies of both! Please enquire as prices may vary.
When will you arrive on the day?
That’s up to you! We usually arrive at wherever the bride is getting ready, around three hours before the ceremony although as it is your big day, it is completely how you want it!
Will we be able to make any changes to our film after we have received it?
We are confident that you will instantly fall in love with your film on your first viewing although on the rare occasion that you would like any adjustments to be made to your film then we are able to do this at a cost of €30 per agreed hour of editing.
